LOCATED IN MONTANA: Reds Spice (aka
"Star") is a 11 year old, TWHBEA
registered, 15.1 hand sorrel gelding by
Shadows Red Baron out of A Spiced Sundae
MCC, He has been used exclusively on
trails and cross country in the
mountains. He has over 500 miles in the
Bob Marshall Wilderness. Star loads,
shoes, hobbles, packs wild game, and
does anything he's asked to do. He has
very hard hooves and has been ridden
barefoot except when he's ridden on very
rocky ground. He is a leader so likes
to be in front so Rob usually goes ahead
with the pack string. Star has no
problem with being ridden alone. He
isn't herd or barn sour. Star does
require an experienced rider with lots
of "horse sense" as he is gentle but
spirited. He would also do well for
competitive trail or endurance. He does
25 miles back into the Bob Marshall
with energy to spare. Owner will
consider a quality Black TWH mare as
