Derby is a one of a kind, very special
mare! She has an outstanding
disposition and tries her heart out to
please. About 14.3 hh, she is a
well-built athlete. This mare has
natural reining talent (great
turnarounds and stops). She is a
reliable trail horse (in a group or
alone), has done cattle sorting, has had
a rope thrown off of her, as well as
participated in a couple of gymkhanas -
pole bending, stake race, scurry &
keyhole. She has tons of speed breeding
- including World Record holder
thoroughbred, Rich Cream - but is very
sane and controllable at all speeds.
She is the last daughter of our great
stallion, Whiz Rocket Bar, producer of
many winning barrel horses. She is
eligible for the 2009 Barrel Futurities.
