Valhalla's Legacy is a 2007 model,
Friesian Sport Horse, bay stud colt by
Valhalla Rising out of Rabask Hug. He
is one of the last living sons of
Valhalla Rising , and grandson of the
late Roi Des Blues (Celtic. ) He is an
excellent stallion prospect. His mature
height and his solid bay color are
unique. He has a good disposition and
excellent conformation. Legacy's sire,
the late Valhalla Rising is a son of the
late 17 hand Celtic (Roi Des Blues).
Valhalla is not "line bred" which showed
in his wonderful disposition. He is
black and has no auburn. Valhalla's dam
is a daughter of Nero. Famed Olympic
Dressage Rider, Hilda Gurney said, "Nero
is one of the nicest moving Friesians I
have seen". She also noted his very nice
temperament. Valhalla's dam's dam is
Tainted Virtue, ASHA# 101835 by
Courageous Kalu and out of the mare,
Swinging Miss.Legacy's dam, Rabask Hug
is the epitome in beauty, disposition
and correct conformation. Her purebred
Arab son is 15.2 hands so this foal by
Valhalla will mature over 16 hands.
Rabask Hug has been used extensively by
Joyce in the NPS and VIP programs. This
is a volunteer program in the National
Park. Volunteers routinely do 4 + hour
patrols on bridle trails in varied
terrain. Rabask has no problem keeping
up no matter how fast the pace or how
rough the terrain. Joyce said, "I wear
out long before Rabask does". She said,
"Rabask lives up to her Polish Arabian
performance/endurance genes". Polish
Arabs are bred for Substance and their
ability to retain type and refinement.
Rabask Hug's sire and dam also go back
to the Bedouin Arab horses of the
desert. (Al Khamsa,Inc.) Vahalla's
