This is the horse I've been looking for
for years; I finally found him and we
are being transferred out of state and
can't afford to take him along. He's a
precious guy, very affectionate and one
of those guys you can pull out of the
field after a long layoff and he will
act right every time. I don't know his
pedigree but from the way he's built I
believe he may be crossed with a
Connemara; as you can see from the
photos he is big-boned and really
stocky. He has the Appaloosa mottled
skin and a few black spots on his
hindquarters. He easily carries a
"medium" adult, I am 5'4" and 145 and we
suit each other nicely and he obviously
would suit a youth rider. The lady I
bought him from said he had previously
been at a Girl Scout camp in MD., also
that she had ridden him on roads, past
barking dogs, etc., and that he wasn't
fazed by any of it. I haven't had much
time with him but I do know that he is
very quiet and level-headed and a joy to
have around. Bathes, loads, a perfect
gentleman for the farrier. He was
shod, I am rehabilitating his feet and
would prefer he remain barefoot.
Definitely the easy keeper and a good
friend. I welcome your inquiries, email
for more photos. TO A GOOD LOVING HOME
ONLY PLEASE. Thanks for looking!
