Cappy was born May 16, 2007. He is part
Trakehner, part Morgan and can be
registered with the American Trakehner
Association in the OAB-D book, Canadian
Trakehner Society or American Warmblood
Society.
His sire is the recently
deceased Elite Trakehner stallion,
Feurtanzer. He was a stallion who proved
himself an outstanding sire of very high
scoring offspring who are making their
marks in-hand, dressage and jumping, and
consistently earn earn the top scores in
inspections.
Cappys dam is a
Morgan of foundation breeding, whose
family line is known for their
outstanding, ground covering, "floaty"
gaits and overall great dressage and
sporthorse ability, and especially for
their extreme soundness, tractability
and good bone. Her full brother has
competed against and beaten Warmbloods
at FEI Level International
competitions.
Cappy has a
friendly, inquisitive nature, shows an
innate affinity for jumping, and carries
himself naturally in a long, low frame.
He is very athletic, I have never once
seen him fall or take a tumble as most
foals do while playing. He has natural
impulsion and collection and could be a
top quality dressage horse someday. He
has his mothers beautiful Morgan head,
with huge, kind eyes and cute "boyish"
looks, and he has his sires excellent
sporthorse conformation and
instincts.
He should mature over
16hh, as his sire is 16.3+ and his dam
is 15.1. He is halter broke, has been
clipped and had his feet
trimmed.
Contact to see more
pictures of him and his dam. I can send
you a link to his best photos, or you
can look at all my albums, where you can
see even more of him (300+!), as well as
photos of his dam (Cobridge Kayley
folder). I named him Captain Morgan
because of his grandsires, Martini and
Coktail, and because he's part Morgan.
Obviously though, since he's not
registered yet, you aren't stuck with
that name if you don't like it! I really
don't want to sell him, but I just have
too many horses. I have also listed my
TB gelding, and whoever sells first will
go to a new home, the other will stay
here. If you're looking for a great
future top level dressage horse, or your
next Grand Prix show jumper, this is
your guy!
Price is $3000 FIRM and
I will take payments, with a down
payment of $500 and monthly payments of
$500, with him staying here board free
(you pay for wormings/farrier etc),
until he's paid for in full. This a
bargain, as other foals by this
stallion, at this age, routinely sell
for over $10,000.
