Sam is a great horse. He has spent about
6 weeks at professional training about 2
years ago. Plus in the summer I ride him
about 11 miles every other day (this is
not a firm schedule some days it is more
or less). The reason for selling him is
not that he is a bad horse, only that I
want a purebred Arabian for show
purposes and all and the pasture will
not allow any more horses. If our
property could hold more horses I would
keep him. Sam knows the basics of
Western Pleasure and most of the game
patterns. He has more of an Arabian
head, but does have a quarter horse
body. He does good around dogs and other
animals. Also he is around dirt bikes
continuously because they share part of
the pasture with them. In the pasture he
is not the "main" horse, he is the one
in the bottom of the pack. This horse is
a PLEASER!!! He does not spook easy.
Ridden on lots of trails and with other
horses and broke for double. He has even
been rode beside the highway next to
main traffic and not spooked. He will
not give you any troubles. I bring him
to different moto-cross tracks in the
summer too, and ride him around all of
the cars, bikes, and 4-wheelers.
In the
summer his coat gets very shiny. He has
a dappled look. He loves to go on trail
rides in new places. Very playful and
loving nature. No one can resist this
horse when they see him.
If interested
please call or email and I will send
pictures of him for you. I will consider
any offer to a good home. I want someone
who will spend time with him. But he
does need a rider who knows what they
are doing on a horse and will show him
who is boss. I haven't had much time to
work with him lately because I have been
away, so he does need some refreshing.
Thanks for looking!
