This little mare has a heart the size of
a mountain and would try to move the
mountain if asked. This horse was my
daughters horse but she has discovered
boys and "Appy" doesn't get the
attention she deserves. I rated her
temperment at a 7 because she hasn't
been under saddle in about a year. With
regular exercise and some manners she is
a very pleasant little mare. Appy has
gone on many trail rides with much
bigger horses and is still full of pep
and vigor while the others are starting
to drag toes.
She carries my 6'0 tall
220 lb husband with no difficulties. She
is brown with a white speckled rump in
the winter and has a roan look with
white rump in the summer. She is a very
easy keeper and would maintain her
weight in field of rocks. Her hooves are
hard and she has been barefoot her
entire life. The farrier has looked at
her feet regularly and says they always
look fine. A good home is more important
to me than the price so expect to answer
some questions about yourself also.
