Shivananda (Shiva) is a dappled grey
gelding standing about 17hh. He is a
Thoroughbred Percheron Cross and is
double registered. He is registed with
the Performance Horse Registry as a
warmblood and also with NEARIC (with
which he has a microchip and will be a
money maker). Shiva rides w/t/c in
frame and started jumping with a rider
last week. He loves to jump and
prepares himself nicely for the fence.
He has an amazing WHOA! Will stop from
a canter if asked with no problem. He
has been jumping up to 2ft. I have free
jumped him as well up to 4'3" and he has
the ability to go higher.
Shiva was a
dream on his first trail ride - taking
the lead for most of the ride!
He has
also been ridden by a 13 year old as
well as a couple begginer riders
(lightly) and he was great!
I believe
Shiva would excel as a field hunter,
jumper or eventer! He has great
extension, a wonderful jump, and good
lift!
