Check Me Out (goldie) is a 5 year old,
14.1hh haflinger/welsh pony mare. Raised
at home, she has a very willing attitude
about anything she is asked to do. Is
currently jumping 2' courses and doesn't
spook at anything
(boxes,flowers,tarps,liverpools...etc.).
Very well proportioned and fancy enough
to win. Looks like a mini warmblood.
With a bit more training she would make
a wonderful pony for a child. She had
been ridden by an 11 year old girl and
behaves wonderfully.
Goldie can
also be ridden out on the road and/or
trails. She will go through water and
jump natural obstacles out in the field.
Trailers, good for farrier and vet,
doesn't need shoes, never been unsound.
An all around great pony. She would
excel best in the hunter dicipline with
a child enrolled in a regular training
program.
Goldie has recently
been used in some beginner walk/trot
lessons in preparation to take them to a
small show in August. They all love her
and she seems to have decided that is
what she loves to do. Teach kids to
ride. I will post details on how the
show went.
