Well broke, has been to Medora a few
times, fast , 5 speed, flat running
walk, also Racks like a dream. This has
been a difficult decision to put Tyrell
up for sale and I was very happy he
hasn't sold yet but realistically he is
too good to sit in a pasture. I have
been wavering thinking I should just
keep him BUT our family has two riders
and three horses and not enough time to
keep all three ridden. Tyrell is
awesome when ridden alone, he really
moves out but when he is with other
horses he will not be happy unless he is
the leader and since I don't have any
gaited horse friends AND I am always
leaving the quarter horses in the dust
when I trail ride with them I have
started riding my quarter horse and I
haven't had much time to ride Tyrell
this past year. My son is riding him
for me right now but he has become
interested in Reining and we are looking
for a Reining horse. When we do find
one THAT will leave Tyrell sitting in
the pasture and he is too good for that.
I would really like to find the right
home a.s.a.p. so I will not be tempted
to keep him. I am most concerned that
he go to a home where he will be
appreciated and used. He is just as
happy sitting in OUR pasture as anyone
elses. No need to catch him because He
will catch you, loads, is good for
farrier, baths, whatever you want of
him. BUT Tyrell is not a beginner horse
because he is very fast, he does not
buck and listens but needs an
intermediate rider since he likes to
move out and tends to get nervous if the
rider is not confident. He would be a
winner at endurance riding. I would
prefer him go to a home that has only 1
or 2 other horses since he is very
docile and can tend to get picked on. I
can email pictures once I figure out how
to get them on.
