old, soon to be 6, is a gorgeous mare.
We get many visitors who have spotted
her from the roadside field and then
stop by to comment on her. She is a
registered appy, however she has a lot
of big named AQHs on her papers as well
as several Hall-of-famers (on both
sides) & Foundation Quarters. Sadly, we
have yet to get her actual papers and
are in the process of tracking them
down; though we do have documents from
her original breeder as well as copies
of her papers to prove her bloodlines.
Nevertheless, this mare will make an
awesome addition to any show barn or
breeding center. She was trained at the
age of 2 and worked till the age of 4,
then put to pasture for a year due to
not having enough time to mess with her.
She is currently back in training and is
on the 1st week of a 30day training
period. With a history to be hardheaded
and untrusting of new people, she can be
a bit of a handful and is still labeled
“Green” as well as being a bit fat and
sassy from being in the field with no
work for a year. She will make a lovely
mount for the right person who has
experience in finishing out green
horses. She has amazing gaits and a ton
of reach in her strides, a bit weak on
her topline and still rather hard on the
bit but she is showing a lot of
potential for any western discipline.
