Pip is the sweetest guy. First to come
to you in pasture, loves attention,
loads, stands great for farrier.
The
only problem with Pip is that he gets
too obese on my pasture and I don't have
dry lot facilities. This is a horse that
really needs to be on minimal pasture
spring, summer and fall. Has never
foundered, but is just a huge fatty.
He has a wonderful foxtrot, and the best
rocking horse canter you can imagine.
Can be a little nervous in new
situations, but if he spooks it is in
place. Not a mean bone on this horses
body.
Sadly due to not having the
right facilities to manage his weight
(all our other horses on are 160 acres
and run free) and my feeling guilty
about having to keep him in a little pen
with all his buddies out in pasture, I
am looking for a new home for him.
