It's with great reluctance and sadness,
I am offering for sale this very special
gelding. Price is negotiable to the
right home.
"Doc" is a 1996 AQHA
gelding. He's Docs Lynx/Jackie Bee bred
on top and Doc Bar/King Fritz bred on
the bottom.
He is a finished
reiner and has won multiple circuit
championships and awards in reining in
the Open, NonPro, Rookie, Green Rider,
and Youth Divisions. For the past 2
years, he has been ridden and shown by a
12-year old girl.
Anyone can ride
him and he would make a great first
reiner for a green, rookie, or youth
rider. He can easily plus every
maneuver. He's a big stopper and
changomatic on the leads. He's a very
happy horse, good minded, and truly
loves his job.
Because he is so
broke, he could go on to do many other
things besides reining. He is very
athletic and willing. He has also been
shown at the local shows in Western
Pleasure, Equitation, trail, and
showmanship classes.
He is great
on the trail. I usually let my less
experienced friends ride him out on the
trails--sometimes double with their
little kids.
He has absolutely no
vices and is wonderful to be around. He
clips (ears too), ties, loads, stands
for the shoer/vet, and travels really
well.
Unfortunately I can't keep
them all and it's time for me to move
on. I never thought I would sell him
but I don't want to let him sit when he
could be helping someone else learn to
ride and rein.
See website for
additional pictures and
information.
