This is one of two mares I bought at the
end of April 2008. I originally bought
for broodmares but have decided to
downsize the pastures.
Lucy is an
exellently formed mare with good size
and conformation. She is in foal by a
Black/White Overo High percentage color
producing APHA Stallion for an April
2009 foal. (Stud is GHOST SHADOW by POOR
HOLLOW BLU GHOST out of ANNS SHADOW)
Lucy has been mainly ridden on the
trails. I have been able to w/t/c stop,
back her up, turn with no problems. She
will ride both in a group of horses or
alone. Road, pasture, and woods. She
will climb hills also. Pastured for most
of her life beside a highway and doesn't
mind vehicles. 100% Sound and Healthy.
I don't have the time to finish her
training. She has not yet been started
under neckreining training, nor any leg
cues either. Her pedigree alone should
be this price. She has BAR and LEO all
over the top of her lines, and MISS SKY
BARS 77 on bottom.
This is an
exellent price for a wonderfully built,
quiet minded mare, and what will be an
awesome painted up foal.
