Val is extremely well trained and
exceptionally good tempered on the
trail. He is large for a Paso Fino and
can carry a 240-lb person (me) all day
on a trail ride. His gait is the
smoothest I've ever ridden in my 30
years of riding saddle horses. I ride
him with a loose hackamoor.
He is
touchy about his ears and a little
skittish in a camp, so I would not
recommend him for an inexperienced
rider.
A possibility of trading
exists for someone who has a child's
horse.
