“Sweet Talkin Patrick” barn name
“Patrick” is a super sweet AQHA gelding
standing at approx 15.3hh. Patrick is a
grandson of Zips Chocolate Chip and a
son of one of my favorie sires - Sweet
Talking Chip, and was bred to have a
good mind and great attitude. He’s 9
years old and truly is all heart. He
loves to please and is a total
sweetheart on the ground and under
saddle.
Patrick has a very
comfortable and A+ slow jog for western
pleasure, and a great headset at the
walk and jog. He would be great to do
some local WP showing. He will do a nice
slow canter on a loose rein, though not
a WP Show lope. He has great canter
transitions and knows his leads
perfectly. This is a horse I never have
to worry about, I can pull him out at
any time regardless of the last time he
was ridden and he always rides the same.
It's a priceless quality to have.
Patrick is a really nice jumper and
would be great for someone who just
wanted to have some fun jumping. He also
will collect beautifully for dressage
and would be great for someone who wants
a decent sized, quiet horse for
low-level dressage. I really feel
Patrick is happiest hacking on the flat
or the trail. He's so steady and smooth,
Patrick just wants to please. Bathes,
loads, clips, ties, stands for farrier.
He is AWESOME on the trail and loves to
go out and explore, very safe and
secure. Goes out great in groups or out
alone. This guy is super nice with a
great personality and is going to make
someone a great horse.
