Windsong is an easy going paint mare
who has the best disposition and is easy
to work with. She has really pretty
markings and has had a saddle on her
multiple times with a rider. She has had
a bit in her mouth before, but it was
only for a couple of minutes. We have
had both of my daughters and my nephews
on her back. She has never offered to
rear, bite, kick,etc. Our vet said she
will only be 14.0-14.3 hands high. She
was in a pasture with 10+ horses and did
great, she is really sweet and friendly.
She will meet you at the gate when she
sees you coming for a visit, she follows
you like a big puppy.
She has a good
attitude and with the right training
would make a great youth or child's
horse. She has had A LOT of groundwork,
but hasn't had any formal training with
someone on her back. She will cross
water and my daughter has led her around
on our trails. She has all of her shots
and worming UTD. She loads good and
stands good for the farrier and the vet.
She is a great horse and can do loads
of things with the right training. We
just do not have the experience to break
her ourselves. Good home is a must for
