“Bob” is a 13hh pony who was started
under saddle over a year ago, put back
out into the field to “grow up”, and
then restarted under saddle 8 months
ago. He has been wonderful to train.
Easy and willing. Not a stubborn pony.
WTC, perfect simple changes, almost
perfect flying changes. Jumps around
2’3”-2’6” courses easily, but has jumped
2’9”. Goes nice and slow around the
course, but can pick up the pace when
asked. He has started showing in the
local 2’3” hunters and has ribbons over
fences and on the flat. He has done lead
line with a 3yo boy in the coliseum at
the Lexington Horse Center and in other
indoors. He’s a laid back pony who rides
on a loose rein. Goes in a happy mouth
bit. Trail rides with others or alone.
Hacks out in the field with no problem.
Has not had a lot of riders so he has
not picked up any bad habits. Has given
lessons to intermediate to advanced
riders and was great. Would probably not
be suited for a beginner as he is still
green. Best for a confident rider who is
WTC and jumping. Please email for
