Very nice
looking/gets noticed-has been mistaken
for an Arab cross many times.
Healthy, UTD on shots, teeth, feet. Very
well cared for. Good for
vet/farrier/clipping/grooming. Barefoot.
Not aggresive in pasture or with
other horses. Likes
dogs/cats/goats/kids. Currently turned
out 24/7 but stalls well. Fed free
choice grass hay and Buckeye's
Grow-n-Win for a mineral/protein
balancer. Doesn't need grain. Keeps
weight on well. Has great winter coat so
rarely needs a blanket.
Excellent
ground manners-respects your space until
invited in even during feeding time. Has
never bucked/reared/bolted under saddle.
However, he is not a horse for a novice
rider. He is a kind horse but has lots
of energy. He sometimes jigs when
excited or nervous. The more he is
worked the better/calmer he is.
He
had a knee chip removed when he was
4yrs. old. It healed well and he shows
no issues from it but you might want to
take it into consideration if you would
like to use him as a jumper. My vet said
it is not out of the question but would
know better with x-rays. He has not
prior jumping experience.
A good
home is a must.
