We are downsizing our herd and offer
Nikki for sale as a breeding mare (she
is registered, purebred Percheron).
Unfortunately, we have gelded two of the
stallions and breeding season is closed
until 2009.
Nikki has some time
under saddle and she is doing GREAT on
her brushup training. Sweet
disposition, can be in pasture or stall
(big one that is!), easy to catch,
handle, load in trailer. WE HAVE CURRENT
CONFORMATION AND UNDER SADDLE
PHOTOS.
When she came to us she
was 600 lbs underweight, lame and the
worst feet (wouldn't let you trim her
either). She is NOW SOUND and easy to
work with, loves attention and is gentle
and quiet under saddle.
We have
had her for a little over a year,
decided to NOT breed her and just let
her become healthy again. WHen under
saddle, though very calm, has very nice
*go forward* attitude and does not try
to yank reins, or be stubborn. She is a
