Ricki was given to us along with an
older Palamino. The owner just did not
have the time to care for them. Ricki
has not been handled much by humans. We
can now halter her ups with no problem
and are able to pet her with out her
skin flinching anymore. She has all the
makings of a very athletic horse. We had
the sire and bred the mare for the past
owners. Her mother was a really nice and
smart mare, she died while Ricki was a
weanling.
Ricki has been working
in the roundpen recently. Had a saddle
on for the first time. She's really
responsive and figures out what is being
asked of her quickly. Smart!!!
