SHE'S BACK FROM HER RIDING/ELK HUNTING
TRIP AND BETTER THAN EVER. Josie has
been in Idaho for the month of September
at elk camp. This mare did
exceptionally well in the mountains -
she is just a powerhouse that keeps
going and going. Josie is ready and
conditioned for your fall trail
riding.
She crosses creeks, bridges,
mud, and ditches. Is used to traffic
including bicycles and four wheelers.
She parks out for mounting and doesn't
move until qued. We have taken her on
many overnight camping trips in Idaho,
Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, MN and WI.
She is familiar with portable fencing,
tie line and has also been hobbled. She
has a fast ground-covering flat foot
walk and a smooth fast running walk; she
also fox trots. Josie is exceptionally
friendly and loves attention which makes
her easy to catch. She is smart and easy
to train and gets along well in the
pasture with the other horses. She is
current on vaccinations, deworming and
farrier care. She loads easily and
stands for bathing and clipping. Josie
is sound and healthy with no scars or
blemishes. She would be a good trail
partner for anyone with some riding
experience. Just a nice mare that needs
