Stormy is athletic and can go all day.
She's Welsh, Arab and Quarter Horse.
Very stout and in good health, just a
bit overweight. We're helping her loose
the extra by limiting her grass and
giving her Thyro-l and a Mag supplement.
She's made progress but needs someone to
work with her at least twice a week. I
thought I could do that but I'm getting
a full time job now and will have even
less time.
She will make a great
resell project and would be an ideal
pony for a good rider that will make a
pony mind.
She can jump nicely (has a
big jump) and knows some dressage. (Half
pass) but I'm a beginning english rider
and she knows more than I do!
She's
VERY light with leg aids. Ridden in
plain broken snaffle. Can canter a tiny
circle. Can get a little wound up if the
rider isn't competent so not good for
lesson horse at this time.
Rides in
halter and lead rope easily and will
also ride bareback. Can be stubborn but
she gives up when she learns she can't
get away with anything.
If you're
looking for an affordable pony for a
talented young rider that knows what
they're doing, you'll love Stormy.
She'll stand to be sprayed with the
water hose without being tied. Loads and
hauls easily. Easy to catch and do
farrier work. Handle her all over, fly
spray, etc. Excellent hooves require NO
shoes with barefoot trim.
Did well
trail riding. Crosses creeks and has no
fear of traffic. Does do better when
ridden with another horse but can be
taken out on her own but she'll be a bit
nervous until she gets to know and trust
you.
I suspect that her training has
been extensive but she just needs a
refresher course. She will back readily
in straight line with leg cues.
I'm
taking a full time job and am cutting
way back on my farm chores. Email for

from serious parties. Payment agreements
