"Scotch" is a pretty pretty filly. She
was shown and won money in local
futurities as a weanling and yearling.
She is AQHA registered and Incentive
fund nominated. Her pedigree speaks for
itself. Unfortunately, Scotch had a run
in with a barbwire fence and did have an
injury to her hock. She has been seen
and treated by both a vet and an equine
chiro. Although the injury looked bad,
it did not involve any tendons or
ligaments, nor did it invade the joint.
She never had any infection in it
either. She is well healed and is sound
in the pasture. We have not started her
saddle training due to the injury, and
because we normally do not start our
young horses until they are 3. She does
flex and bend on the halter, clip and
bathe, and she stands for the farrier.
She is current on all cares, meets you
at the gate and is fine in a stall, in
fact she is quite neat. Scotch loves
attention and would like to be someone's
best buddy. She is not for sale due to
the injury, rather, we got her because
of the injury. As we were not looking
for another horse, she is an extra and
does not get the attention she should.
