Cyclone is a well-mannered, 4 year old
chestnut mare. She knows all the basics
- turn on the forehand, turn on the
haunches, sidepass, backup, etc. - and
does them all exceptionally well. With
her quiet manner and smooth gaits, she
would make an excellent western pleasure
prospect. She already has the classic
western pleasure jog and a beautiful
rocking chair lope. She has been ridden
both inside the arena, and out on the
trails. She has been ridden bareback,
as well. Cyclone ground ties, is good
for the farrier, and has been regularly
dewormed. We took Cyclone to her first
horse show on July 26th, and she took
everything very well. She was entered
in Maiden Horse Western Pleasure and
Junior Horse Western Pleasure. She
placed 3rd and 4th respectively, with 14
horses in each class.
