Westy is a 6 year old that was lightly
raced and then retired due to a bone
chip in his ankle. He had surgery to
remove the chip and has been turned out
for over a year not only to recover but
also to let down from racing. He is a
very quiet genuine horse with no vices,
easy to work around and handle and he's
now ready to move on to a new home and
new career. Obviously green and will
need reschooling but would make someone
a very nice horse with potential in any
field.
As always, I have too many
client horses taking up time and stalls
hence the reason for selling him. He has
been ridden over the past few days after
a year long break and he was quiet and
even popped a few cross rails.
He was
just brought in from the pasture and
cleaned up for the photos and was a bit
unsettled about leaving his buddies so
that's the only reason he was wearing a
chain. When he's been in overnight, he's
really quiet.
