Szerina is possibly the most loving,
affectionate and willing Arabian mare
you will ever meet! She has been well
started under English (serious Dressage
training as a 4 year old) and is a very
fast learner. Unfortunately, her
previous owner lost interest in riding
and she wasn't ridden much last year.
She was given the winter off to gain
weight other then light riding in the
pasture, and then resumed training in
spring. She was started lightly over
jumps a few months ago, and as you can
see, she took to it like a duck in
water! She is an extremely quiet mare
and even kid safe in an arena. However,
she HAS been an arena horse most of her
life and can become very nervous on
trails. We have no doubt with more
consistant riding, she could become a
reliable trail mount as well. She has
unbelieveably smooth gaits, with a lofty
trot and a sporthorse style canter. She
listens to the leg VERY well and we are
working on bending and bringing her onto
the bit better. She is very easy to
catch and simply loves people, always
begging for another pet or a treat out
of your pocket. She has very strong and
correct legs, with extremely solid
hooves. Goes barefoot, has never had a
health issue. Up to date on shots,
farrier, worming, etc. Fairly easy
keeper, just on grass at the moment.
Szerina would make a lovely project
horse, and with a bit of work, even an
amazing lesson horse for novice (or
experienced) riders. Don't pass up the
