a 15.1hh, 6 yr old, Stout Built,
Buckskin/White Tobiano, Gelding. He is
registered Kentucky Natural Gaited.
Rock is easy to catch, clip, bath,
tack-up, load, handle in anyway and
stands perfectly still for mounting.
Rock has been owned by an older lady who
gave Rock the best home possible! She
rode Rock several times each week, even
bareback in just a halter. Rock has had
some natural horsemanship training, he
also neck reins, side passes, backs, and
canters. Due to traveling issues in her
church schedule, this lady decided that
she would rather see Rock go to another
good home instead of having to leave him
unattended for months at a time. Rock
has a sweet personality and loves
attention. Rock is safe for any
beginner to ride and he is sure to build
your confidence levels! He has been
ridden by all level riders including
kids. He will flat foot walk on a loose
rein but will move out when asked. Rock
has a very natural runwalking gait and
he can pick on up and Rack to about
13mph. No matter what speed if is or
who the rider is Rock is always super
smooth and is one of the smoothest
horses you will ever find!!! He has
been shown in Trail Pleasure Classes and
placed well. Rock has had 3 months of
professional gaiting, trail and
bombproof training. He has been ridden
around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large
noisy tarps and has also had guns shot
off of his back. Just like everything
we say about our horses, we have the
videos to prove it, on our website. No
matter where he goes or what he does,
Rock is always very laid back. On the
trails he is always great and never
spooks! Rock has been exposed to all
kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey
or other animals like cows or dogs and
will go anywhere that he is asked too.
He has been rode many miles in the
mountains of Eastern Kentucky and
encountered every obstacle possible on
the trail. He will go up or down even
the steepest slopes, across deep creeks,
over downed trees, and over all types of
rough terrain while still being sure
footed. He has been rode in traffic, and
is very traffic safe around cars, semi,
log, and dump trucks. Rock is definitely
a been there and done that kind of
horse, with a, I’ll go there and do
that, anytime you want too, attitude! He
has a great personality and a great
attitude about whatever he is asked to
