Firecracker is a 6 year old registered
POA. He was out for 60 days of training
last fall and another 60 days of
training this past June and July. He
has been ridden western and english. He
follows us around in the pasture like a
puppy - very easy to catch. He has a
smooth trot and a nice collected canter.
I would recommend him for an
experienced rider however as he is very
smart, at times can be strong-willed and
needs somebody to clarify who is in
charge. Our children (9 & 12) are
fairly inexperienced riders and do not
consistently correct him however the
trainer he was at for the past 60 days
had his 8 year old son (who is a very
good rider) riding him without problem.
