Need to find Tank a home for the winter
as I am expecting a new foal and need
the room. Super sweet, easy to handle
appaloosa gelding. Flat kneed movement,
quiet gaits. He has been ponied on
numerous trail rides, cross water, and
bridges, and he doesn't bite or kick at
the horse you pony him with. Will trot
calmly beside you as you move out
too.
Has been used for
showmanship, trots beside you, squares
up, stands for inspection, backs easily,
90 degree pivots. Bathes, lunges,
clips, and loads into and backs out of
the trailer easily! He has a thing
about fly spray, but once you get it
pumping, he seems to be fine.
Dam
is a Jack-of-all trades QH mare, we've
used her to rope, jump, dressage and her
best forte is her ability to trail ride
anywhere, any time, with anyone. Sire
is a beautiful halter horse who never
had the opportunity to show. Siblings
are competing in Halter, English
pleasure, western pleasure, cutting and
reining.
Tank comes from a slow
growing family line, but should mature
between 15-15.2H and weigh close to
1200lbs when it is all said and done.
He is currently 757lbs and 13.3H at 18
months old.
I would also like to
encourage you to return him to me when
you feel he is ready to be broke to ride
for a reduced rate. $150/30days plus
you supply feed and hay. I am a Ken
McNabb certified trainer with many
references if you would like to take me
up on the offer. Otherwise, my plan is
to break him in June of 2009 and price
will increase accordingly with shows and
ride time.
I feel Tank could be
the ultimate competition show package
for the right person. If you feel you
can give Tank an excellent home, I am
