Cocoa wa a meat pen pony. Bought out of
kindness. My granddaughter wanted
something she could saddle herself. He
is very kind to children and adults,
there is no biting, kicking or bad
habits. He is blind in his left eye, so
he will spin to see you, especially if
he knows you are coming on his blind
side. He is a pony you can lead with his
mane, I don't halter him to go in or
out. Most times he comesto you in the
pasture, but he is on the bottom of the
pecking order and needs to know the way
is clear. He was a driving pony for
Amish children. He knows little about
being ridden. My granddaughter has trail
ridden him, but he moves right along and
she is a passive rider so she is on his
mouth too much. He doesn't know leg
aids, but will take off in a flash if
you chirp to him(driving). He is good
for the farrier, has been wormed every 3
months, is an easy keeper. He stays in a
straight stall when he is in, but that
is only in bad weather. I would like to
see him go to a family with a child with
some experience. Price is negotiable to
a family with good vet references.
