Shorty is a super cool little dude. He
would make a really nice ranch rodeo,
speed event, cow horse, prospect. He
really sits on his rear end and stops,
has a nice back up, and light on the
bit. I would say, he is not for a
beginner, but someone with a little
horse knowledge would do just fine. He
is a super pasture mate, not mean at
ALL- no kick or bite. He is being tuned
by a trainer to add a few bells and
whistles, I believe he has only been
used as a trail horse in the past, so
thus the NO beginners, so he can
continue moving forward in his training.
Not spooky and super ground manners.
He is built like a mack truck, just a
real looker. He will stand tied ALL day
without moving, is not buddy sour, loads
like a pro, stands for farrier, and is
UTD on ALL. teeth included.
UPDATE-10-17-08 took Shorty to a
barrel show last night, and for being
his first time, he did great. Not
SPOOKY at all, and nothing bothered him.
Horses bumped into him, he just stood
there. We also took him to a barrel
clinic on 10-19-08, just for exposure
and he did awesome. 11-16-08 Shorty
attended 2 rodeos for exposure, getting
him used to EVERYTHING..
