"Ellie" is a beautiful fifteen year old
mare. Don't let her age fool you, she is
full of energy and is always willing to
please. She has previously competed in
Eventing, Level 2 Dressage, and stands,
clips, trailors, baths without fuss. Her
only vice is she can't be cross-tied
because she has a problem with the
tugging at her head and will yank back,
but this hasn't been a problem at all.
She tacks up just fine and loves to be
brushed. She needs an expierienced
rider, because she is a lot of horse. I
recommend someone who really has the
time to work with her and correct her.
She is a very strong horse. About 5
years ago she had a slight stifle injury
but has completly recovered and is sound
for jumping and riding
fully.
Currently I ride her in
dressage and after being untouched by
her last owner for 2 years she is back
on track without fuss. She doesn't act
like a mare and is very laid-back. The
reason I am selling her is because of my
schedule, between being a full-time
student, work, and a 3 year old... I am
swamped and can not give her the time
and energy she deserves. She is a great
horse for anyone wanting to advance in
dressage or jumping.
