Button is what I call her because of her
sweetness and gentleness. The first day
I ever rode her was on a trail ride. At
first she was nervous but caught on
within ten minutes and has been very
gentle ever since. I've been riding her
on trail rides for the last two weeks,
we went to Brushy over the weekend. Rode
her bare back, saddled, stuck people on
her because she was the most gentle of
the horses we had there and they didn't
really know how to ride her. She still
is a baby so i wouldn't say buy her and
throw a 5 year old kid on her, just
because she's only 3. I would say that
by next spring she'll be a 4H kids
horse, 4H horse or even a cattle horse.
She is a handy little mare actually but
you gotta ask her alot for it. I bought
her for a barrel horse prospect but
she's just not what i look for in a
barrel horse prospect. I have thrown my
9 year old niece on her and she had no
problems. She has been riding horses
since she was 4. I really wish i could
keep her but i only mess with my barrel
horses and i'm just looking for one
prospect and she would just be the
perfect kids horse in the future.
