CURRENT UPDATE--Silver has just finished
60 days of work with professional
trainer Jenny Jess (you can see Jenny on
RFD-TV as she competed in the Extreme
Mustang Challenge, where she took first
place in her division in
2008)
Beginning in March Jenny
started Silver's ground work and then
mounted up and began to concentrate on
under saddle training. Silver learned
quickly and fast became one of Jenny's
favorite students. Silver has worked at
all gaits for the last 45 days both in
the indoor arena and outside around
other horses and over varied terrain.
With a very solid start under saddle,
Silver is ready for an experienced rider
to spend time riding her for pleasure or
trainig her for a specific
discipline.
She is most suited
to Hunter/Western, or would make a great
trail mount as she is such a calm horse.
The trainer and I believe with Silver's
personality she would make a wonderful
mount for a youth.
If your
interest lies in breeding, Silver should
add quality, height, and the sought
after black color, to her foal. Her
pedigree is full of champions in English
Pleasure and Park on top. Her dam line
is also very impressive, with her dam
touting 15 Hall of Fame Broodmares in
her pedigree PLUS CH Wing Commander and
multiple crosses to Genius Bourbon King,
one of the most beautiful Saddlebred
stallions of his time.
One of
Silver's best traits is her personality.
She truly is a people horse. She adapted
well to the training barn and was a joy
to train. Jenny will be happy to discuss
