Here at Erin's Painted Acres, we are focused on breeding quality, versatile, colored horses with papers. We breed quality, not quantity. Our breeding program is based on four components.... conformation first, disposition next, then pedigree, and finally color. We are still working on our breeding herd, but we are very happy with our stallion and mares thus far. Currently, we only have one registered paint stallion, Spotted A Runner, and two registered paint mares. We are looking forward to our stallions babies in 2008. Our farm is located 3 miles south of Bowden which is about half way between Red Deer and Calgary. We have an array of different animals around. We own 11 horses (4 paint horses, 2 Welsh Arab X mares, 1 Quarter horse mare, and 4 miniatures), 18 cow-calf pairs, 2 dogs, and numerous other animals. Website available, send email for link.

2008 Sorrel Tobiano Filly (Spots No Dots aka Mickey) with cute markings, great conformation, beautiful head, great movement, and is a complete package. She is out of my mare Fancy Hearts Afire who won 4th overall in Alberta in a halter futurity as a baby and was shown at a local show last year and won every halter class entered as well as a showmanship. I also entered her in a halter class in September (when she was pregnant) and she placed 2nd, 3rd, and 2 4ths, under 4 judges. This filly is sired by my stallion, Spotted A Runner who has no show record yet, but has a ton of talent and is one cowy horse. He will cut bulls out in the field and would also clean up in the reining pen. She will be registered with APHA and will have the option to be registered Pinto if the new owner decides to. This is an excellent prospect for a show family or a 4Her for a all around horse. She would get you noticed by the judges! She is halterbroke and picks up all 4 feet and loves to be brushed and handled. She should mature around 15 to 15.1. She is a real Sweetheart!! I have my gelding Turbo power aka Bow for sale. He has had 2 injurys to his hind legs that haven't affected his pasture time, but have his riding ability. He is a very loveable horse and would do anything to please you. He loves attention, especially from older children. Since his injurys limit his riding abilty, I am selling him as a companion horse only. He could be rode most likely at a walk for short periods of time. He is an easy keeper and would be best suited to a home with a few other horses and lots of love. No meat buyers please. Approved homes only. I have picture upon request.

Miniature Horse Single Driving Harness in USA/Canada

Basically brand new miniature horse single driving harness which include everything except the bit. Bought new last year and it doesn't fit my minis that I drive so has only been used 3 or so times. Fits a bigger miniature or small pony. My little stallion is a very petite 31 inches and it swims on him. Can get actual measurements but is more suited for a larger mini or small pony. Include bridle with overcheck and cavesson. Very good quality harness for the money. Selling for $350 obo.

16" Western Rawhide Roper saddle in USA/Canada

I have a basically brand new 16" western Rawhide roper saddle. It is a light tan with gorgeous floral tooling. I bought it last year and hardly used it over winter and this spring and summer(maybe 15 times) It is semi quarterhorse bars and has rawhide stirrups. Sells with matching breast collar and backcinch and a matching headstall and harness leather reins can be purchased for $80. They are brand new this spring. Only reason for selling is my grampa just recently passed away and I was given his saddle to ride in. I can't justify keeping a gorgeous saddle like this on a saddle rack not getting used. I paid $1590 brand new last year and will sell for $1300 obo.
