King is a big gentle gelding with a beautiful head and the kindest eyes! He is very quiet and dependable. He's nothing fancy but he rides very well in the arena or on the trails! SOLD! Remington Steel, Grey Thoroughbred For Sale in Georgia SOLD!

TO GOOD HOME ONLY!!! Remington Steel is a very special horse and is looking for a special family to adopt him. He was purchased for $10,000 by a family in Florida approximately 3 yrs ago. He was ridden and shown hunter/jumper by a 10 yr old girl and won several ribbons. He was just too tall for her to saddle and bridle and she was a bit intimidated by his size. She felt much more comfortable riding her mother's 14.2h quarter horse so she began a new show career with the smaller quarter horse and poor Remi was left at home in the pasture. The harsh Florida heat was a little too much for him and the pasture where he grazed flooded and stayed very wet for several months. <br><br>The family thought it was best for Remi to get out of the Florida sun and "swamp" and he traveled to Ga to find a new family. He arrived at our farm in August and has adjusted very well. He has gained weight, his bug bites have healed and his hooves are growing and making progress as well. I have been feeding him a hoof supplement and he needs just a little more growth before he can have a new set a shoes.<br><br>He is gentle, playful and affectionate. He gets along with other horses and ponies. He loads, clips, bathes with no problems. <br><br>He needs a family that can give him the love and attention he needs and deserves. He stands a little back at the knees so I would not recommend him for jumping. He should do well as a companion horse with light riding. I rode him 3 yrs ago at the time my friends purchased him and he did very well. We walked, trotted and cantered in an open field. He was not "hot" or hard to handle. I rode him again recently and he did well again. He had not been ridden in over a year and I wanted to see if he would stand calmly for tacking, mounting and dismounting and he did just that. I only walked him since he still needs more time for his hooves to grow. <br><br>He will make a wonderful addition to the right family.
