Charlotte is a seven year old mare who is very easy going, gentle, friendly, and is looking for a new home. She accepts saddle, bridle, rider, and will lead line but other than lead lining, she is not sure what she should be doing, so she will need someone that will work with her and give her a little bit of additional training. She has a white blaze and two white socks on the back. She loads well. Email for photos and more info. Adoption application and reference check required. Renae is 15-17 years old according to our veterinarian. She recently had her teeth floated and her hooves trimmed, and is on a regular farrier/worming schedule, due for vaccinations June 2008. She is possibly broke to drive, and she will accept a rider bareback on lead line or she will accept a saddle, bridle, and rider lead line, but needs additional training in order to be ridden without the lead line, as she is not sure what to do without it. She is a calm horse, tolerant of many things, loads well, and would make a good addition to your barn. An adoption application is required and reference check will be completed. Sable is approximately a 4 year old Quarter pony and you may respond to this ad for photos to be sent to you. She is sweet tempered, and would like a home to call her own where she can receive some training, as she is not yet broke to ride. She loves to be brushed out, and stretches her neck out when you hit "her spot" on her back when you scratch her or brush her. She was brought to our horse shelter a couple months ago, but we do have some information about her history. We have two minis available for adoption, too.

Shortcake is a Strawberry Roan mare, who for the past couple of years has had foals. Her coming yearling foal is available for adoption, as well. Shortcake came to our shelter a couple of months ago. We have no information on her history, and we are unsure if she has been bred back. She is halter broke and leads well, but can be difficult to catch from time to time. Little Dickens is an entertaining, young miniature horse. His mom is available for adoption, too. He is approximately 6 months old and is not yet halter broke. He came to our shelter a couple of months ago. We have had a halter on him, but he does not appreciate being led, and prefers to stay confined to the protection of his mother's side. SOLD! Lil Man, Dark Bay / Dark Brown Thoroughbred For Sale in Nebraska SOLD!

Lil Man is an off the track thoroughbred gelding. His owners cared enough about him to allow our shelter to take him in once his racing career was over. Lil Man's last race was in June 2007 where he experienced bone chips in his knees. He has had surgery (Feb of 08) and had his knees injected. He has no ill effects from the bone chips. Although it is common for TB's to return to racing after having bone chips, his owners did not want this for him. Lil Man's complete medical history regarding the bone chips and surgery are available from his vet. He is ready to begin training for a new vocation. We have ridden Lil Man and he is wonderfully calm, can be ridden bareback or with a saddle, and responds very well to leg pressure. there is no need to be on the bit with this horse. He's a horse that I would keep myself, however we cannot keep every horse that comes through the shelter. If you would like to visit Lil Man, please email us. Photos available as well.
