Mickey The Marvelous, Bay Welsh Pony For Sale in Illinois

Mickey the Marvelous is a 12.1 1/2 hand 5 year old bay Welsh Pony gelding. He is a very, very sweet pony that loves to work and always tries his best to be perfect. He is showing at IHJA rated shows in W/T through Beginner Rider (2 ft.) divisions and placing well. He takes care of his little riders and is a real gent in the show ring. He is wonderful in the warm-up and is easy or children to handle at the shows. He jumps 2 ft. 3 inch courses, and has very easy flatwork. He is doing easy lead changes with a 12 year old and will soon be doing them with the 9 year old. Mickey is fancy with wonderful form and lovely movement. He will easily do "A" Children's Pony through the Small Pony division, has the step to make the lines. This pony is a point and he will jump it type of pony, can be ridden with or without contact over fences and on the flat. He will jump anything you point him at, and always finds his spot. He canters over mini cross country fences with a 9 year old rider. He is correct and very cute. He is also good on the trails. No vices or pony habits. This pony truly loves to please and work. Jed is a 13.3 hand 13 year old black Mustang gelding for lease. He has been a games pony, eventer (evented at the Novice level at rated events), and jumper. Extremely fast, brave, and fun. We do not have time to ride him and so are leasing him to an approved home only. He is an easy keeper (requires only hay and no shoes). He has excellent manners, but is not for beginners. He is a hot pony that is a blast to ride. No vices, great on the trails, sound. Asha is a 15.2 hand 9 year old grade brown mare for sale. She is completely safe, quiet and easy. She will jump around 2' to 2'6" courses and has very easy flatwork. She has extremely smooth gaits that will not unseat even small children or beginners. She has very good manners and is an easy keeper. She is excellent on the trails, alone or in company, no spook, goes right through water and over ditches. She has had 3 lovely foals for us, but we are concentrating on breeding registered Thoroughbreds, and so we are selling her. She is an excellent mother that produces big, healthy and correct foals. Asha is a fun ride and is perfect for teaching children or beginners the ropes of riding and jumping. She would be an excellent Pony Club horse that is calm enough to start at the D-1 level and would also be a good beginner novice/novice level eventer. Mike's Pride is a 16 hand 6 year old registered Thoroughbred black gelding for sale. He is big-bodied, straight legged, and has a cute face. He is truly black, with only a star and hind pastern white. He has been off the track for a couple of years, being a pasture pet, but his owners are looking for a new home for him now. When he was at the track, apparently he was so quiet that he did not even need to be ponied to the starting gates. However, he has not been ridden since he came off the track, so probably needs a rider with some experience to teach him the ropes of a new discipline. He is sound on an old bow. Wonderful is a 15.3 hand 4 year old bay Irish Thoroughbred cross mare. She is working training level dressage and does nice leg-yields and shoulder-in. She jumps 3' courses and has her lead changes. Boogie is a 14.1 1/2 hand 3 year old 3/4 Thoroughbred, 1/4 Welsh Pony dark bay stallion for free lease or sale. Boogie has very good conformation, rock-hard, straight legs and feet, and a big, flat-kneed step. He is intelligent and very sweet. Boogie has excellent bloodlines, on both the Thoroughbred and Welsh sides. He was bred become a top hunter or sport pony sire, but we do not currently have the room for him, so are free leasing him to the right home through the spring breeding season of 2009. We would also consider selling him to the right home or a longer term lease. Boogie was bred with the idea of crossing him to small Welsh mares for fancy medium hunter ponies. He has sired one foal, which is fancy and correct. We plan to bring Boogie home and train him and promote him after the 2009 breeding season, but, as previously stated, will consider a longer term lease or sale to the right home. Parvati is a 16 hand 4 year old 7/8 Thoroughbred, 1/8 Appaloosa cross brown mare. Vati is jumping 2'6" courses and has her lead changes. She is schooling enjoyable training level dressage and learns very quickly. Vati is extremely brave and will jump anything you point her at. She has big, smooth gaits that will score very nicely in the dressage ring. She will make an excellent event and Pony Club horse and also has the mind and ability to be a great Young Riders horse. Her dam was a training level event horse and a 4th level dressage horse until the age of 20, retiring sound, and then went on to have three foals. Don Giovanni, Bay Pony For Sale in Illinois

Don Giovanni is a 14.1 1/2 hand 14 year old Mustang bay gelding for sale. Although he is a Mustang, he looks like a warmblood, and judges love him. He has no tattoo and was never wild. He is a packer training level eventer, but has also gone BN and Novice. He evented at the training level with a 12 and 13 year old boy (my brother) for two seasons, and he has never had a cross country penalty in his entire career. His dressage is steady and easy, and he generally scored in the middle of the pack with the little boy, near the top with other riders. Gio is 100% sound and healthy. Gio would be an excellent Pony Club pony, D-1 through C-3, hunter or pony jumper (not a fast one though!). Gio has also shown at local shows and events. This pony hops around 2'9" courses on a loose rein with children. Gio loves to be ridden and always wants attention. He is great to bathe, trailer, clip and stands for the farrier. Current on all care. We sadly must sell him, but only to the perfect home!
