SOLD! Docs Bay Bonanza, Bay Quarter Horse For Sale in Tennessee SOLD!
$ 2,000
"Peppy" has been started the right way - slowly. He has superb ground manners - easy to catch, leads, loads, ties, ground ties, easy to trim, worm, bath, groom, fly spray, clean his sheath.. he is gentle, respectful, and 100% sound.

He has also been started the right way under saddle. This colt will round pen, walk/trot, change direction, whoa and face in with your voice or a change of body position.

He was started under saddle very lightly last year, and has been riden on the trails at a walk/trot this year. He will return on November 15 from 30 days with our trainer to have his lope and his neck reining down. He is quiet, with no spook, and will lead or follow with a group.

Peppy, being only three, is not a horse we consider appropriate for a beginner; however, if you can ride, you would do fine with him. He has been trained to work off the seat and leg, is backing softly, and is now ready to begin further training for a specific discipline if you so choose - he has the build and the pedigree to team rope, team pen, possibly run barrels or poles, etc. He is already a sane trail horse.

Contact us if you would like any additional information, photos, or to set up a time to come and see/try him out for yourself. We have owned this colt since he was a yearling, so there isn't much we can't tell you about him.

No trades please, a good home only, and again, no beginners. Although there are some three year olds that might make good new rider horses, we feel that one this age needs a rider with at least some experience in order to finish him correctly.

SOLD! Pocos Bueno Friday, Line Back Dun Quarter Horse For Sale in Tennessee SOLD!
$ 1,800
Dayze is a 14.3 hand 97% foundation bred line back dun mare (almost a dunskin in color) who was started under saddle as a three year old, but never finished.

She is a daughter of our stallion, Pocos Mr Kaycee, (HERDA tested N/N), as well as a grandaughter of multiple world champion, Tupelo Gunsmoke, who was the 2004 IBHA Honor Roll Dun Factor Horse, 2003-3rd in IBHA World, 2003-Dun In The Sun Circuit Champion, 2004 ABRA Pre-World Circuit Champion, 2004 ABRA Reserve World Champion, 2004 IBHA Pre-World Reserve Circuit Champion, 2004 IBHA 4th in World, 2004 IBH Congress Circuit Champion* Tupelo Gunsmoke has officially earned his IBHA Superior in Dun Factor, and also his ABRA Superior in Dun Factor.

Dayze has been DNA tested - we had purchased her in May of this year from her dam's owner as a possible replacement broodmare - as well as to showcase our stallion's offspring. However, because of the market, we are not going to be breeding any horses for 2010, and would rather see her used as a riding horse at this point.

She is UTD on shots, worming, coggins, easy to handle, and has excellent ground manners - good for the farrier, leads, loads, ties, clips, grooms, worms, etc... She would need to be restarted under saddle as she has not been ridden at all this year.

If she does not sell by next spring, we will send her out for 60 days with our trainer, and her price will rise. This is a very nice ranch bred mare, who is just old enough to start on cattle, train for roping (she would make a great heel horse), penning, poles, or hit the trails with. She is the right size for youth - as well as adults - and can really get under herself.. plus she has the color, build and brains to excel..

We might be interested in trading her for a well broke, registered, sound, sane gelding. We have no other horses for friends to ride that are safe - and have recently discovered a need for one.. Dayze is too young and would be too green for beginners.. Contact us if you are interested in Dayze ..
