Poco Paso is an easy keeper who is not reccomended for the beginner rider. He has been on a few trails, thru the creeks, and at the state parks trail riding and camping (can stay on a tie line). He has been known to buck when we first started his training. He hasnt bucked on his last few rides but he may still have some in him. He needs just a little more finishing and he will be well on his way to being a great show pony. He can be registered, I just never bothered. He comes from a great line out of Warsaw Ohio. I have had his grandfather, his sister and am ponying at Mountaineer off of his uncle. He really does have what it takes to make a great pony. Squirrelly has regisration application , but we never registered him. He LOVES to jump. He jumped our 4 ft gate at a stand still! He has been introduced to the barrels, but was not fast enough. He moves like a western or english pleasure horse. He also served at Mountaineer Park as a lead pony, both morning and night work. He is very good at it but doesnt have a "push back" aggressive attitude to hold up to the racehorses slamming him. Plus, ponying is hard work,and Squirrelly is my fav horse who doesnt have to do that. He loves people, wants to ride and is a must see. The only reason I am selling him is that the track has consumed my time away from him. He needs a home that will show him and ride him..love on him every day. He deserves that. He is one of a kind. And not cheap. I am negotionable with the price but not by much.
