Soldier, Grey AraAppaloosa For Sale in Wisconsin

Soldier is a great all-around, been-there-done-that gelding. He's a grey Appaloosa/Arab (unregistered), with a few light spots, and is approximately 20 years old. He has no health problems or arthritis, is full of pep and acts like a 10 year old! He's current on vaccinations, worming, and has negative 2008 Coggins. He's 14.2 hands, with the Arabian perky ears, but Soldier has long legs that are solid and stock-type along with muscling like an Appy. He can easily be ridden by a child all the way up to a medium sized chunky adult. He's a great size; not too big, not too small. Soldier's been trail ridden a lot, by both children and adults, and has been in the woods, on the road, and just about everyplace else. Nothing seems to spook him. He will ride out by himself or with other horses. He has been shown extensively in all WSCA sanctioned shows and was used for all of the speed events: cloverleaf barrels, pole weaving, pole bending, key race, pennant race, speed dash, jumping figure eight, egg and spoon, and four in line. He can turn on a dime, and does a great sliding stop. He loads and trailers beautifully, stands nicely for fly-spray, grooming, vet, farrier, etc., and is easy to catch and halter. There are no known vices: NO buck, rear, kick or bite. Gets along well with other horses and animals. He would not be for a beginner, as he is fast on his feet and likes to go if you'll let him. He will not run off with you, but does need to know that you're going to keep him slowed down if that's what you're wanting. He's a blast to ride!! He'd be the perfect horse for a competitive gaming youth or 4H-er, or for someone who just likes to ride a fun horse who knows his stuff.

Commander is a grey, registered Half-Arab gelding. He is Arab/Saddlebred, and also qualifies to be registered National Show Horse. On his Arabian pedigree he is a Huckleberry Bey and Cognac grandson, which puts Bask as his great grand sire. On the Saddlebred side he has both Wing Commander and Valley View Supreme. His Dam has many national top 10 wins. Here is a young fellow that could take you to the top. Commanders upright carriage and long, full tail will make him a sight to behold when he matures.<br><br>We have started his ground work now, and he would make a wonderful dressage, eventing, or an exceptionally fancy driving horse, to name a few of the directions he could go.
