Here at the Slidin~J~Ranch we have some down right awesome registered performance Paint horses. They're all gentle with no vices. Our training method for all our horses is gentle but firm. We happilly can tell you that NONE of our horses rear, crib, bite, kick or any other such vice and most of them load, tie and lead very well. Weve never had a 'stillborn' foal or one that didn't grow into a beautiful healthy horse. We've never lost a horse due to illness, not even colic, and all are fat and healthy. We take pride in our horses and we are working our way to better and better cutting bloodlines. We train using mostly John Lions and Monte Roberts methods. We only ride and train western. Little Miss looks to be homozygous for the tobiano gene. She's very flashy and very laidback temperament. She's ready to be started or could wait another year to let her fill out and bulk up. She's not going to get very big so she would be especially good for a smaller person. Her sire, Toby Tivio has excellent conformation and foundation bloodlines; such as his sire, Bingos Game Point, APHA Champion son of Sky Bug Bingo: APHA Supreme Champion SUP Halter, Leading Sire ROM Racing, Cutting, Reining, Barrel Race, West Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle. He is the product of such notables as Smart Little Lena, Little Tenina, Tenino Fair (offspring earnings of $854,600) and the legendary Peppy San Badger, not to mention Doc Bar!
