Duke is a registered paint gelding. Previous owners lost papers. He Is a big baby on the ground! He is broke to ride, but he needs an experienced rider. When i rode him he bucked me off because he got too excited and started running. My stepdad rode him and he did ok. He needs a little bit of work, and ALOT of riding. He would be great for anything. In the pasture when he runs, he is a gorgeous runner, and can stop and turn on a dime! When i was going to sell my horse a guy came and looked at my horse, but fell in love with duke! He said all he needed was the bridle, and he put it on duke and he just jumped up bareback and started running around the pasture, and he did WONDERFUL! he didnt give him any problems! i think he just needs to be shown whos boss. plus he has alot of energy bottled up! He also has ear problems from lack of proper care with previous owners. He needs some medicine for sensitivity. He HATES his ears being touched, but it is cause of the ear mites (we think). I have a brand new western 13' pony saddle that has been ridden in 3 times. I am selling it cause it was given to me from a friend and my horse died so i dont need it any more. It comes with a brand new bridle and a 2 good halters. It includes the girth, bits, and reins. All that is for 250. I also have a brand new black 26' western saddle that has been rode in once. It comes with girth, bridle, blanket and halter. Bridle has bits and reins. All that is for 200. I also have grooming supplies and 1 lead rope for 30. I have a lunge whip, boots, helmet, saddle bag and a fly repellent.all that is for 35. the boots are a size six and been worn once and was to little and they are black. the helmet and saddle bag is black. the lunge whip is red. OR you can get all of this for 500.00. i will try to get pics soon. have to pickup cause my mom wont let me deliver anywhere but within 30 miles of iuka, ms. email me if interested. thanks also will trade for a horse.
