We have helped find good homes for several quality Arabian and Half Arabian horses that owners gave away due to finances or other reasons. Sadly a sign of the times.<br><br>I would love to give a home to a Saddleseat and/or Driving NSH or Arabian. My husband and I agreed that I would not buy another horse...buy another horse. I have 2 young fillies but nothing that I can ride or drive and enjoy. I miss that so much.<br><br>Color isn't an issue but attitude and soundness is important. It can be a seasoned show horse ready to semi-retire or a young one. I prefer English Pleasure but a true Country Pleasure horse would be nice too. I would like to do a little showing. <br><br>My son has a farm in Sorrento (Apopka)and his wife has been showing, training, caring for horses for 15 years. We feed the best grain and have alfalfa bales in the turnouts. We have stalls but I prefer my horses out where they can move around, socialize, and munch all day. Our horses are happy and healthy. <br><br>I can supply references from the Vet, the feed stores, the farrier, other horse people, and trainers that I have had in the past. They will all tell you that my horses are like my kids. I showed English Pleasure/Park Morgans from 1988 until my son married into Arabians. I am trying to blend in. I still have my 19 yo Morgan Park gelding.<br><br>Am I looking for a great horse for free? Yes, and I am offering a great home with tons of love and the best of care for a horse who deserves it. I do not work so I can hang out at the farm and enjoy. <br><br>Prefer Florida based horse but can arrange transport within reason.
