Horses for Sale/Stud/Lease/Wanted
Elise, Palomino Belgian For Sale in Tennessee
$ 800
"Elise" (Barn name) is a heavily structured and well formed filly. She is from all pulling stock from both sides of her pedigree that comes from Pennsylvania. Her grandsire is Sunny Lane (National Pulling Ped.)
Both parents are heavily built also. Her sire Daniel, stands 17.2hh and dam is approx. 17hh.
She is very willing and respectful. She is not a high-strung horse. I put the saddle on her for the first time June 24th. No bucking, crowhopping or any issues. She didn't mind being worked in the roundpen with the stirrups flapping on her sides and didn't even seem to notice that it was on her back, even when tightened. She will be one of the good safer "project" horses because she is VERY VERY curious to learn, willing, not a trouble-maker and does NOT have any stubborness or attitude problems.
She is big, sleek, healthy and beautiful. 100% sound.
This Filly is for serious buyers/breeders looking for excellent pulling stock, or if not interested in her as a pulling horse, she would also be an easy-going riding horse if you have a love for riding drafts! She has excellent bloodlines, form, and her breeder's name is known over PA and MD for his reputation in breeding quality pulling winners.
If you have any questions or would like to come check her out, just let me know. Email for pictures. I'm online often and will send them ASAP.

Firefly, Bay Arabian For Sale in Tennessee
$ 600
"Firefly" (barn name) is an 11YO red bay mare. Purebred and registered but we do not have access to her papers and currently have no way of getting them.Her registered name is PADRONE'S GAMAARA. She is sweet and good tempered. Willing and pays attention very well. We have worked her in the round pen a few times, doing some groundwork and small comunication exersizes and EVERY time she is VERY attentive and WANTS to know exactly what you are asking of her.
She has been ridden on trails with a 10 year old girl (intermed/experienced rider) both with a saddle and bareback. She has been ridden with an english saddle, and a nylon western.
She is not herd-sour or barn-sour and doesn't have a fit if the other horses leave her out on the trail. She is not hyper and you do not have to hold her back.
Her previous owner said that she used to show her but I'm not sure what disciplines she was shown in.
We are selling her because we have too many horses and some aren't getting as much attention as I'd like them to have. Please email for pictures! I will send them as soon as I recieve your email. Thanks for looking! (details)
"Hazel" (Barn name), Sorrel Appaloosa For Sale in Tennessee
$ 500
This mare came from a quarter horse farm near Meyersdale Pa. She is from a solid black AQHA stallion and out of an appaloosa mare. She is registered but her previous owner died and his relatives couldn't find her registration papers.
She hasn't been started under saddle yet, I don't have the time to work with her currently until I can sell a few more horses. She is very curious and tries to understand what you want.
Someone with some more time and space on their hands (I have 20 horses and not room for more) could get her started under saddle and make some money on her. Her conformation alone will sell her but I need a quicker sale and just want her to go to a good home. She is heavier, CORRECTLY built and more muscular than my own APHA stallion.
Good hooves, easy-keeper. Currently on pasture. Thick neck and heavy built shoulders.
I've only had her a few weeks so I don't know everything about her yet, except that she's not bad tempered, and not aggressive with other horses. Holler at me for anymore info and I'll try and help you as best I can.
Email me for pictures and I will send them as soon as I receive the email. Thanks for looking!

Derick, Bay Morgan For Sale in Tennessee
SOLD!
$ 800
SOLD
"Derick" (barn name) is a VERY people-friendly, social horse. He is a 7 year old purebred Morgan gelding. He was recently delivered to me from Pennsylvania along with 4 other horses. NONE came from sale-barns. They all came from horse-farms in Lower PA.
Training and selling is my part-time work so I am not just selling a horse I do not like. I absolutely love him but have more than enough of my own horses already.
Derick should be registered with the AMHA (American Morgan Horse Assoc.)but I do not have his papers and neither have any way to get them, nor do I know know his registered name.
He is the first horse to come to you in the pasture and is easy to catch. He has sound, healthy hooves. Currently shod on the front. Picks up all 4 feet perfectly fine. I'm not sure how much he has been ridden but someone spent alot of time on him. He will walk/trot/canter for you but prefers to walk. Relaxed and willing under saddle. He is not high-strung.
His movement at all gaits are big, smooth, and rounded. A very comfortable ride. I do not believe he would run away with anyone.
He appears as though he was pastured with an alpha horse because he has a few mild scars on his side that did not come from a fence. They were noticable when he arrived, now, almost gone.
If you would like to come out and ride him, just give me a call or email. Email me for pictures, I am online often and will send them ASAP. I also have many other horses for sale. Thanks for looking!
UPDATE: Derick has been ridden on two trail rides with the Pioneer Wagon Train- approx 50+ people, mules, wagons and horses of which he didn't mind about any of them. Both 6hr rides. He had plenty enough stamina for both rides and kept up with us very well. He is currently ridden a few times a week by an 11 year old girl (intermed/experienced) who rides him bareback. We've also found out he enjoys swimming! (details)

Registered Miniature, Grey Pinto Miniature For Sale in Tennessee
$ 800
I am listing this mini gelding for Chris Beachy. He also owns several APHA horses for sale- If you have a question for him or would like to go out and see any of his horses, just give him a call at 931-593-3683 or Cell: 615-406-4962. (instead of my number that is to the right). I (Ashley Amick) do not own him.
He is a SUPER child broke little man. You can crawl all over him, under him, around him and bring him to bed! He is very sweet and friendly. IF you're looking for a very- beginner type horse for a small child, he is the one! VERY VERY VERY tolerant of children.
This guy isn't lazy, and neither is he high-strung. He will go when asked and stop when asked. He has been ridden on trails with big horses also. I'm not positive on his height- the height is just a guess. But I know that he is registered as a Mini and not a shetland. I know he is under 10 hands.
Beautiful grey paint with one BLUE eye.
If interested, give Chris a call about him- he may be negotiable also!

Bailey (barn name) is a stocky, well built mare standing approx 14.3hh. She has a deep heart-girth and a wide chest. Exeptional hindquarters. She has been on several trail rides and doesn't mind following along behind another horse, you can also bring her to the front of the line. Bailey will cross creeks and step over logs. Will ride in woods or pasture. I would say she needs a few more months on the trail before classifying her as a seasoned trail horse that is a been-there-done-that type of horse. She stands well for the farrier also.
This mare has a correct form and stands square. She would also be a VERY VERY exeptional prospect to a breeding program. Smooth walk and a big, rounded trot.

$ 3,000
Butterfly was born a true bay, turned VERY blood bay and is now almost pitch black, though I'm not thinking she will turn completely black. She is halter-broke and UTD on deworming. She should reach around 16.3hh - 17hh. I will register her as soon as I get the stallion owner to sign the registration paperwork.
Her dam is a 16.1hh Appendix Quarter horse registered w/ AQHA.
Her sire, Danny is a 17.2hh Homozygous Black Friesian Stallion who can be seen online (contact for link).

, True Bay Morgan For Sale in Tennessee
$ 400
This is one of 5 horses delivered down from Meyersdale Pennsylvania due to owners not having enough hay/pasture and not enough time to care for.
He stands approx 14.3-15hh and is a true bay with no markings. He was recently started under saddle a few weeks ago and has had approx 10 rides. He has not given me a bit of trouble, neither with temperement problems, or timidness. He has accepted everything I have introduced to him with perfect ease.
First time saddled, he did not give a buck, a crowhop, not even a jump or startle. He didn't mind the saddle pad being thrown onto his back, his neck, legs, the tightening of the saddle etc...and acted as if he'd had experienced it 100 times before. He was started with basic roundpen work and communication from the ground.
I can put a halter and lead on him straight from the pasture and get on him without any problems- no pawing, prancing, crowhopping, bucking bolting etc. He has been started very well. I have had him walk/trot/canter, stopping, and backing. He is VERY flexible with the bit, both with turning and flexing at the poll. He is priced extremely cheaply for his actual value but I already have 19 horses and am trying to find a home for him. Priced for a quick sale, email for pictures. Thank you for looking! (details)

Traveller, Gray Quarab For Sale in Tennessee
SOLD!
$ 1,500
***SALE PENDING***
Traveller has been shown from 2000-2003 in County clubs at English and Western Pleasure and Trail class- he was usually in the top 3.
He has also been shown at Maury Co. Pony Club Spring Event at Dressage and Cross Country (Baby Green level) He got a 1st out of 20 contestants- The highest he has ever jumped while under saddle was 3'8 and he can go higher... However, he has not been shown since and has only been ridden as a trail horse every now and again. I have too much stock to be able to work with and ride them as much as they all need.
Traveller has also been trained to rear onto his hind legs on-cue. He has attended "Civil War Re-enactments" as a cavalry horse- amid Blasting cannons, running and yelling men, galloping horses, waving flags etc... he behaved himself very well.
He is a good tempered, VERY inquisitive, and lively horse with quite enough speed and agility for speed events as well- which he has not been trained in.
Loads well, good with farrier, ties, loves to swim, clips, bathes etc... No health problems, no conformation problems- easy keeper.
Too much stock- EMAIL FOR MORE PICS and thanks for looking! (details)
SOLD!
Lee, White (gray) Appendix For Sale in Tennessee
SOLD!
$ 700
***SOLD***
Lee is a calm, dependable trail horse that would be great for beginners or someone buying their first horse. He has been in Civil War re-enactments where he had blasting cannons under his nose, rifles going off, men and horses running around a field, ladies in fluttering hoop dresses, screaming kids, traffic...didn't bother him...
He does like other horse company with him though, but is still fine without. Lee neckreins very easily and will get up and go when you ask, but is not high-strung. He occasionaly will toss his head but that is usually because someone was holding his reins too tight. Leads, loads, ties, rides, bathes, stands for farrier.
Lee comes with a brand new trail saddle ($200 value) that has been ridden in approx 3 times. A thick western saddle pad, and bridle. The bridle is red nylon with a regular curb bit but a snaffle-mouth will also work fine with him. We have good halters and leads if you need that also. Everything you need for the first horse! We are selling due to horse overload! Thanks for looking! (details)
Blizzard Rose & Filly, Sorrel Quarter Horse For Sale in Tennessee
$ 1,300
Rose is a very gentle friendly mare. In the past was used as a speed event horse. At 7 years of age she was pastured with new horses and one kicked her in the hock leaving a chip on the bone. X-rays show it is completely healed back over and -WAS- only a tiny, tiny crack. She is completely sound now and the bone growth around it is stronger than before.
The owners that I bought her from said they didn't do much riding with her, mainly using her as a broodmare. The most I have ridden her is 2 hours at the walk, trot and canter and didn't have a problem. She is very responsive and quiet. She will carry a young rider quietly and willingly. She does NOT kick, bite, buck, or rear. She is very fluid and you can put a halter and lead on her and ride her around the pasture.
She has no lameness or health issues. I bought her winter of 2006 to use her as a broodmare.
Very exceptional conformation. She has had 6 foals and has a solid Sorrel filly with a blaze face. Her filly is eligible for the APHA (American Paint Horse Assoc.)And the PHA (Pinto Horse Assoc.)Her filly is halterbroke and friendly and will go with her mother for $1500 together.
ROSE is a very quiet and ladylike girl and I thoroughly trust her with children. VERY well built with a small, dished face. Looonnng thick mane and tail. Pictures of her and other horses can be seen online (contact for link).
Thanks for l@@king! (details)
SOLD!
Stonewall Jackson, Buckskin Quarter Horse For Sale in Tennessee
SOLD!
$ 800
*SOLD*
Jackson is a friendly and willing guy. He was born March 27th and has grown like a weed and his conformation is wonderful. He has a stout, short muscular neck, wide hips, and thick jaw. His Sire, Ghost Shadow is a blk/wht overo APHA stallion who stands 14.3hh. Jackson cannot be registered with the APHA or AQHA because his Dam is a grade mare. She is a bright golden Buckskin Quarter Horse and I don't know why she wasn't registered. However, Jackson can be registered with the IBHA (International Buckskin Horse Association) and the paperwork is ready to be sent with your name on it. He would be an exellent prospect for many different disciplines such as halter, for his heavy build , or cattle work. He has alot of stamina along with a ton of agility and speed and would make it far in speed events or Eventing. More info & pics available. Thanks for looking! (details)
SOLD!
King's Obvious Jack Bar, Blk/wht Paint For Sale in Tennessee
SOLD!
$ 800
SOLD:
Jack has just been started under saddle. His Sire stood 15hh and was a blk/wht overo stallion. Mother was Tobiano and stood 14.2 so he still has a little growing to do. He will be 2 years on the 20th of June. Check out his papers. This boy would be an exellent children's horse because he is so laid back, gentle, and NON-spooky. He is smart and willing. Good feet, no cracks, chips, etc... I will not take less for this horse. He has wonderful bloodlines, a sound mind, great color and conformation.
He also leads very well tied to the back of a pickup (although I do not usually lead this way) he will walk/trot/canter right behind a pickup truck, no pulling or spookiness.
More info and pics at our website. Thanks for looking! (details)
Geronimo, Gray Paint For Sale in Tennessee
$ 1,200
"Geronimo" (Barn name) is a light dapple gray gelding registered with the American Paint Horse Assoc. He was used summer and fall of 2007 as a lesson horse for intermediate riders.
All of 2007 he was mainly ridden English and has jumped up to 2'0 but his ability shouldn't hinder him jumping higher. He has also been ridden western alot, but mainly is ridden bareback with either a bridle, or a halter and lead.
Geronimo has a current negative coggins and has been taken to several Trail rides (Natchez Trace, and others). He is fine riding around unfamiliar horses, dogs, traffic, people, and excess noise. He is the 4th leading Alpha horse out of 12 horses.
Am selling due to needing to trim down the herd here.
The only problem is, his Registration Papers are buried somewhere in a pile of paperwork in this house! I am still looking for them and am guessing they'll be in a stack of other equine paperwork...if I don't find them before you decide you want Geronimo, and find them afterward I will send them to you by mail. His registered name is "Denero Flame" and he is a solid out of blk/wht Sire and Dam.
Email for more pictures if you'd like- thanks for looking!

Dock Bars Buzzy Smoke, Gray Quarter Horse For Sale in Tennessee
SOLD!
$ 1,700
"Rubber Duck" (barn name) has been a lesson horse for all the year of 2007. He is a beautiful medium dapple grey with black points, mane and tail.
He has been taken to many trail rides and civil war re-enactments. He is currently jumping 2'0 and is one of my student's favorites. He is now being ridden mainly by a 12 and 15 year old. He is beginning to get the idea of collection. An easy keeper, no lameness issues, and is healthy and sound. Good feet, barefooted and has no cracks, chips or tender feet. Stands well for the farrier, ties, bathes, loads easy, rides, lunges, loves to swim, etc...
He is not a spirited horse and likes to take it easy but he will move on when you ask. He would be exellent for both the English or Western discipline. He has a very clean throatlatch and is responsive. He is gentle and laid-back with young people.
UTD neg-coggins, deworming. He has exeptional correct conformation.
He is not being ridden much with the winter months but is the same quiet boy with every ride. I would keep him but I have more horses than I need and he is not getting the attention he used to. He has a friendly personality and I would love to see him go to a good home.

Tony, Sorrel Quarter Horse For Sale in Tennessee
SOLD!
$ 850
Tony is a big 'ole puppy dog. Has very exeptional conformation. He is said to be a Quarter horse but personally, he looks just a bit stocky, he may have a little bit of some type of draft horse in him. He is VERY easy to keep, is not on grain, and will work all day for you. He rides, drives, plows the garden, has had kids on him, and is a fairly laid-back horse.
He is very Traffic-safe, he is Husband-safe, Kid-safe, and I could probably tell you Gun-safe too (I know the owners hunt off of him but I don't know if they've actually shot off of him)- he has hauled many deer out of the woods. If I didn't have too many horses myself, I would've already bought him.
He will stand for the farrier, ride, tie, I don't know about shots or not but I personally know for a fact this horse does not appear to be sick or unsound in any way.
*** Tony is owned by an Amish family who have no phone number but the lady, Miss Mary Stoll's daughter, Suzanna Beachy has a phone and if you are interested in seeing Tony, you'll have to call her daughter (Suzanna or Raymond) at 931-593-3680 to set up a day where you can to and see him. PLEASE DO NOT CALL 931-593-3180 IT IS THE WRONG NUMBER!*** ***Mary Stoll also has another horse for sale that is listed in my other horses*** For pictures, email me- or check out my site page.
