Hots Power Play a.k.a. Chief, Chestnut Quarter Horse For Sale in Michigan

I am selling Chief for my younger sister who has lost interest in him. He is a great horse and I would keep him except for the fact that I simply don't have the time to work with him. We have owned him for almost three years now and have strictly done trail riding with him. The people we bought him from however said they had used him for a lesson horse and that he had been previously shown. I'm sure if someone worked with him he could easily be shown again. His gaits are to die for, I have never ridden a Quarter Horse who was so smooth. Chief needs daily attention and working to keep him well-behaved. When he has too much free time he can become a little pushy. He is happiest when he is needed. He so far has not been ridden at all this year but was ridden and worked with last summer. He needs a confident handler who isn't intimidated by his size. As for any vices, he does roar when thoroughly exerted. He also should not be stalled all day because he developed a weaving problem from his past owners. Overall, Chief is a great horse who just needs someone to spend time with him.
