Poco Hontas is a very sweet filly, born on May 30, 2008. She was imprinted at birth and is coming along well socialially with humans.<br>She is being handled by my 11 & 16 year children and is doing well.<br><br>She has very nice color, she has coronet spots on all four of her feet and possible ink spots (one spot on her back and another one starting to show up on her side). There's a good chance she could be homozygous for the tobiano gene.<br><br>Poco Hontas is starting to get black on her back, left leg above her knee. She is starting to shed out some and her bay coloring is becoming darker on her chest and hind end. Her face is brown with a small white strip on her nose.<br><br>We have been working on trailering her and she is coming along great.<br><br>We have entered her into a horse show October 5. The horse turned out great she got 5th place out of 6 in halter 2 and under class and in most colorful halter she placed 6th out of 12. She behaved real well for her first time around other horses.<br><br>Poco Hontas weighs 349 pounds and is <br>12.0 hands high as of November 5, 2008. Amarissa is black few spot leopard appaloosa filly. Her face is starting to turn light black. Her front legs are black from her hoof to her knees, she has black on the back of her legs too. Her back legs have black on them to but are narrower across and they also have black on the back of her legs. She has 4 or 5 black spots on her.<br><br>She is very friendly and loves the attention anyone gives her. She has been imprinted from birth and is doing great with socialization with us. We have been working with her on trailering and she's doing well with this. We have given her baths, which is not her favorite thing but is okay with it. Amarissa stands well for the ferrier. She leads well by an adult or child. My 11 year & 16 year old daughters can lead her around.<br><br>We have entered her in a horse show Oct.5. The horse show went well. Amarissa placed 2nd out 6 in halter 2 and under class.<br><br>Amarissa weighs 370 pounds and is <br>12.3 hands tall as of November 5, 2008.
