For Sale: This is a Homemade trailer that my husband modified around 2 years ago. It was a 4 X 8 utility trailer originally. Steel frame with roughcut sides. Lights work but it has no brakes. Good Features: Lightweight and good gas mileage when pulling. Will hold 25 square bales of hay. Roof is removable. Light enough if you can't back it up you can unhook and turn it manually. Removeable end gate great for hauling mowers ATVs and more,longer items can be hauled with gate off. It can tilt for loading mowers, etc.Negatives Great for mini horses (that's what we mainly used it for.) Not good for full sized horses) Goats pigs or a feeder calf or two would be fine. Roof is made of fiberglass panel and offers mild protection from the sun but it has a foot sized hole from a friend's horse rearing up. It would only cost $20.00 to replace. It does have small wheels so wheel bearings need to be greased often. Also the axle is lightweight and the sides aren't made to have a 1000 pound horse leaning into them. You could possibly reinforce. Also the end gate removes easily but should be modified as the fasteners got bent recently. It is titled as a utility trailer and uninspected. I have used this this month to haul horses and hay. It has been very reliable. This is very versatile I am only selling as I recently got a riding horse so I need to upgrade and don't want two trailers sitting outback.
