Color Me Curly! is dedicated to breeding for the 3 C's of curly horses. Color, conformation, and curl! There are so many curly horses out there, but not enough with a lot of color. Pinto's are even harder to find. That's why we are dedicated to breeding the best horses, to try for the best colors, and of course, curls and conformation do count! Sprite, Pinto Paint Pony For Sale in Wisconsin

Sprite is an adorable little pony mare with chestnut & white markings. She is 10 years old and stands 10hh+/-. (She is smaller and more petite than my shetland mare who stands 10.2hh.) She has good ground manners and leads, loads, ties, and picks up her feet for trimming. I bought her last year as a companion for my older shetland mare, but my shetland pony does not get along with Sprite. I've given them a year to bond & they haven't, so I'm offering Sprite up for sale to a good home. She's happy being with the bigger horses and stays inside an electric fence. Indigo is a beautiful '97 palomino curly mare, who keeps a nice mane & tail yearround. She stands 14.2hh, and is very stocky. She can easily carry a heavier rider, and has been used for trail riding. She is out of MCH Aishihjk Ruby, and by MCH Midas. Her bloodlines include Yellow Hornet, Colonel Austin, and Walker's Prince T, to name a few. You can see her pedigree on the curly horse pedigree database. Pandora is very quiet & easy to work with. She has a lot of potential whether you are looking for your next childeren's pony, or an easy going trail horse, and is pretty enough for the showring. <br>This sweet little filly currently stands around 13-13.2hh+hh, and should mature at 14.2+hh. She has a smooth indian shuffle gait (aka running walk), and will be a smooth ride once she is riding under saddle. Pandora has good ground manners, and will be ready to train your way. Zim, Buckskin Overo Bashkir Curly For Sale in Wisconsin

Zim is a 2008 buckskin pinto curly colt, with flashy overo markings. He has 2 hind socks and a blaze, and is covered in microcurls. His curls are so tight that they look as if they were curled around toothpicks! Zim has been imprinted, and is worked ith on a daily basis. He will walk up to me when I first get to the field to do chores every morning, and then he will wait for me to finish feeding everyone, to get his chest scratched. Zim is very friendly, and will gladly stand to be petted & fussed over all day long. His dam, Missy, is very good with letting us work with and handle her foals, so we can spend a lot of time with them. Zim has exceptional conformation, and a wonderful disposition. Goldie, Palomino Bashkir Curly For Sale in Wisconsin

MCH Goldie is an inquisitive 2003 curly mare. She was born out at Joe Mead's place, and is a classic example of Joe's breeding style. True to form, Goldie has very tough hooves that are self-trimming, with no cracks for splits. She is a very easy keeper, and grows a hardy winter very-curly coat each year. Goldie has nice western/stock type conformation, and carries herself well. She stands 15.1hh and should produce large-sized foals, if someone wanted her for a broodmare. Wtih some time & training Goldie would also make a dedicated riding horse. She is very friendly & curious, and truly enjoys being worked with. She is more than happy to follow you around the pasture and stands quietly for grooming and fly wipes. I've been able to touch her all over; she's not marish at all, and I have started working on her picking up her feet, starting with the fronts. She's happy as long as you are spending time with her. She will walk off-lead with you all over the pasture, on either side, and stops when you stop. <br>Goldie is used to our dog & cats being around her feet, and is partial to foals. She is a good babysitter, and will often "park" herself by a foal & watch over it while it's mother is grazing nearby. <br>Ideally I would like her to go to a home where she will continue being worked with. She's too nice of a horse to be put out in a pasture & only used for breeding. (I think she'd make a great broodmare, with her size, conformation, color, and bloodlines, but KNOW that she'd make an awesome riding horse too.)
